Call for PhD Abstracts
The NORDLOG PhD Workshop of NOFOMA 2015 provides a friendly and
constructive environment where international experts present how to best pursue
a PhD in logistics as well as giving guidance on the publication process. PhD
students can present their research in progress for an open discussion with
experienced researchers. Participating students will also have the opportunity
to present a poster during the main conference to leverage further interaction
with NOFOMA attendees.
Current Ph.D. students are encouraged to submit a 2-page abstract about a
research topic to be considered for the NORDLOG PhD Workshop. The abstract shall
include a one-paragraph bio of the student, along with information on how long
he/she has been in the Ph.D. program and the expected time until graduation. The
student should be the sole author, although contributions of the advisor and
others should be acknowledged. The NORDLOG PhD Workshop committee will review
submissions to ensure relevance and potential benefit from attendance.
The registration fee alternatives for NORDLOG are:
- Registration fee for NORDLOG only: NOK 500
- Registration fee for both NORDLOG and NOFOMA: NOK 2000
Submissions must be in PDF format, of no more than two pages in length (all
inclusive) in Calibri font size pt. 12. The abstract should include the author's
name, affiliation, and email address.
