There are some important measures to be taken/ to remember when you are getting close to the time of departure from Molde.
Please, abide by the following:
Make sure you know the deadlines for handing in notice about your accommodation, and make a point of handing in the notice in good time!
Up to date information about payment and vacating the student accommodation can be obtained by directing your questions to the Student Services Organisation. (See the overview over useful addresses and telephone numbers at the back of this brochure).
Make sure you tidy up and clean the room/apartment properly. Cupboards, bureau/chest of drawers and floors must be washed clean. The box with plates must be packed in the same way it was when you moved in.
You must contact the caretaker in good time before you are leaving and make a reservation for the "checking out" procedure. A valid statement from the caretaker about the condition of the accommodation you are leaving represents the basis for the refund of your deposit.
Remember to notify the following services prior to leaving Molde:
- The police department in Molde
- The national registration office
- The post office. Remember to leave a forwarding address in the event of mail arriving after your departure.
- Your bank in Molde. Remember to close your accounts before you leave.
- And remember to return the key for your accommodation.
