How will the teaching be organized?

There will be lectures on campus. In addition, a combination of digital lectures, group activities and academic meetings is facilitated. We follow national infection prevention councils and guidelines for universities and colleges.

Should I move to Molde or Kristiansund?

Yes. We recommend all students who had plans to move to the region to do this as they would in a "normal" situation.

Will the campus be open or closed?

Both. We will try to stay open for as many students as possible, but we cannot have all students together at the same time as before.

Will the schedule be like previous years?

No. We are now working on mapping how the individual classrooms can be used, within current infection control rules. We need to find out how large groups can be gathered in different areas and plan their schedules according to this.

Will it be Opening Week and Buddy Groups as before?

Yes, we will have an opening week with buddy groups! But it will not be quite as before. We are now working together with the Opening Week Committee and the Student Society to create a good and safe opening week for our students.

Can I travel on an exchange in the fall of 2020?

No. The authorities have not issued travel advice for the period and most of our partner institutions remain closed. Therefore, there will not be opportunities to travel on student exchange in the fall of 2020.

Will international master's students be able to come to Molde University College?

Yes and No. We are following the guidelines given by our authorities.  All exchange students coming to Norway and Molde will have to stay in quarantine for 10 days.
