Education
- 2001-2004 Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Molde University College
- 2007-2008 One-year program in Science and Mathematics from the University of Bergen
- 2008-2010 Master's degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bergen
- 2010-2014 PhD in Molecular Biomedicine from the University of Copenhagen
Work experience
From 2004-2007 I worked as a certified Nurse at Haukeland University hospital, and from 2008-2010 at a housing community for cognitively disabled patients. From 2014-2019 I worked as a researcher at NIFES, now Havforskningsinstituttet, at the department of Human studies. From 2019-2024 I was employed as a researcher at Møreforsking with focus on ocean and health. I have also had the role as kompetansemegler in Møre og Romsdal county were the aim was to advice the Industry in increasing their FoU-activities.
