Areas of Work
Affiliated with the bachelor's program in Nursing. Teaches and supervises students throughout all three years of study. Involved in theory and practical studies, simulation, and skills training. Are also a part of the team responsible for conducting suitability assessments and providing extended supervision for healthcare students at HiMolde.
Background
Trained as a nurse (BSc) at Høgskolen i Sør-Trøndelag with further education in intensive care nursing from Høgskolen i Ålesund and Masters (MSc) in Advanced Clinical Nursing from NTNU. Has a special interest in pain management, emergency medicine and humanitarian work.
Work experience as a nurse primarily in specialist health services, but also has experience in mental health, emergency room, and municipal health services. Employed at Molde University College since autumn 2020.
Delegate for the Norwegian Red Cross and ICRC since 2022. Participates in international assignments as a nurse, most recently in Ethiopia, Gaza and South-Sudan.
