Background
I have an interdisciplinary background as a philosopher and nurse, with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Bergen and a nursing degree from Molde University College. In my role as a university college lecturer, I teach philosophy and medical ethics, and I am responsible for the ex.phil. course for health sciences.
In addition to teaching, I work as a nurse in the neurology ward at Molde Hospital, with a special interest in functional neurological disorders. I am also a member of the clinical ethics committee in Helse Møre og Romsdal HF, where I contribute to promoting ethical reflection and practice within healthcare services.
