Background
Anne Jorunn Vatne holds two master’s degrees in Economics and Business Administration (Siviløkonom) and in Accounting and Auditing. She is a State Authorized Public Accountant (2014). She has broad professional experience from both the private and public sectors, including 15 years of practice with the audit and advisory firm KPMG, where she worked with audits of banking, retail, and manufacturing-based companies. Her experience includes areas such as acquisitions, restructuring, and reorganization.
She is currently employed at Molde University College as an Assistant Professor in Accounting and Financial Management and has been admitted as a PhD candidate to the doctoral programme in Logistics, where she will commence her doctoral studies in autumn 2026.
