Areas of Works
I have been responsible for teaching and supervision related to the bachelor's program in nursing since 1998 and have had responsibilities as class coordinator and study year leader in the second year. In addition, I have been responsible for a further education program in evidence-based practice for healthcare professionals. I am currently responsible for a one-year study program in welfare technology and digitalization in healthcare and social services. I also supervise students on their bachelor's thesis through literature studies and students in the master's program in advanced clinical nursing.
Research Interests
My research interests include evidence-based practice, the scientific basis of nursing, quality in education/practice, supervision, welfare technology, digitalization, social innovation, and service design.
Research and Development Work
I have been involved in various pedagogical development projects within the bachelor’s program in Nursing. These projects have been documented in research reports published in Cristin. I have played a significant role in developing new study programs and modules and have taken academic responsibility for their implementation. As an active researcher, I have contributed to the research groups Pedagogy in Professional Education (PIP) and Interprofessional Collaboration. Within the PIP group, I have conducted extensive research on the topic of 'Failing to Fail' and have published several articles on it. Since 2022, I have been involved in an international research collaboration with researchers from the University of East Anglia. I established the research group: Digital Collaboration and Service Development in Health and Social Services, in 2020.
