Populations within the marine environment are affected by several different factors. These environmental factors can be abiotic factors representing non-living components as well as biotic factors representing living components. The variability of these factors is likely to affect the populations of different sites. The Norwegian coastal cod (Gadus morhua) seems to have several local populations. This project will investigate if there are site differences in coastal cod within Møre og Romsdal County Municipality.
The project started August 2025 and will tentatively end in July 2026.
