e-Hospital4Future

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the vulnerability of healthcare systems, but also the remarkable resilience of healthcare workers. To better equip healthcare workers for crises and patient-centred care, a European working group has created the #e-Hospital4Future project.

The project aims to provide training modules for healthcare professionals that combine soft skills, technical skills and digital skills, including emotional resilience and digital tools that become important in crises.

e-Hospital4Future is co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. This project is funded with the support of the European Commission.

The aim is to strengthen international cooperation in health, improve national health systems through the development of digital tools and services, and increase the skills of both clinical and non-clinical health professionals at the European level.

The project is led by Professor Ana Madureira and is implemented by a multidisciplinary consortium consisting of eight institutions from six European countries:

  • ISEP (Coordination, Portugal)
  • UNL (Portugal)
  • PXL (Belgium)
  • EURECAT (Spain)
  • UNINA (Italy)
  • HiMolde (Norway)
  • CHUSA (Portugal)
  • PSKUS (Latvia)
