The course considers the following topics:
Transportation and transshipment situations / -models
Location and allocation problems
Different types of network problems
Specific network problems, like the Postman Problem, the Travelling Salesman Problem, the Minimal Span Problem
When presenting the different course topics, it is emphasized on solving problems using computer software packages.
