Knowledge of production planning and improvement methods is essential to ensure that patients receive the right treatment at the right place at the right time. This also involves ensuring that the right resource is used for the right task. A central objective of this course is to address logistics challenges from a process and systems perspective. Students will engage with systematic approaches to the analysis, planning, management, control, organisation, and monitoring of processes. Such approaches can support more effective and robust operational management, as well as the optimisation of dimensions such as quality, patient flow, and resource utilisation.
The course is connected to the following study programs
- Experience-based Master in Health Logistics - netbased
