Learning Environment Committee

The role of the Learning Environment Committee (LMU) is to work towards a good learning environment for students at HiMolde, and ensure that students have a say in matters concerning the learning environment. LMU is an advisory board when planning and conducting measures concerning the learning environment, and monitors the development of the students’ wellbeing, safety and welfare.

The Learning Environment Committee consists of six members; three employee representatives and three student representatives appointed by the student organisation. In addition, members of the Student Welfare Organisation and the Ombud for students participate as observers.

Membership is for a two-year period. A member may become a leader in the last year of the period. Leadership is transferred from a student representative to an employee representative and from an employee representative to a student representative.

The committee secretary function is held by the Office of Studies and Academic Affairs by Lena Håre; lena.hare@himolde.no
