The symposium will be hosted by Molde University. SoAR welcomes high-quality contributions from Operations Research, Economics and related fields addressing aviation. The symposium offers an informal and highly interactive setting in which researchers can present new work, receive detailed feedback and develop collaborations.
Remembering Professor António Pais Antunes.
The 2027 Symposium will include a dedicated moment to remember António, a long-standing member of the SoAR scientific committee and a deeply valued colleague and friend. We will honour his contribution to aviation research and his great support to the SoAR community.
The programme includes:
- Full-paper presentations: extended abstract of no more than 600 words; 40 minutes for presentation and discussion.
- Early-stage presentations: short abstract of no more than 150 words; 20 minutes for presentation and discussion.

Submission guidelines
- One-presenter rule: each person may present only one paper.
- Multiple submissions: authors and co-authors may be involved in more than one submitted paper.
Attendance at the SoAR Symposium is free of charge. Further information about the programme, registration, travel and accommodation will be announced in due course.
