About the course
The seminar gives outline of the downstream oil and gas supply chain, including their planning and operations. The main focus of the seminar will be on decision support tools for management, planning and scheduling (Refinery Production and Derivatives Transportation).
Topics covered: Typical downstream logistics activities . Integrated Planning; Refinery Production Planning; Refinery Scheduling; Derivatives Logistics Multimodal Planning; Derivatives pipelines. Scheduling.

The student's learning outcomes after completing the course
The students will learn about Downstream Petroleum Logistics activities and typical planning problems and decision support tools used and how to implement them to use for the decision making and analyses.
Forms of teaching and learning
Teaching full days from Monday to Wednesday, working on using decision tools and articles until Thursday, presentation of articles analyses on Friday.
