About the course
Course content (abstract): The course is multidisciplinary and deals with logistical challenges in the Arctic related to maritime cargo transportation, exploration of Arctic petroleum resources, offshore oil and gas field development, environmental protection of the Arctic area, infrastructure and socio-economic development of the area, conflicts and cooperation of neighboring countries.
Topics covered: Logistics challenges during Arctic exploration, Arctic petroleum resources, transportation via the Northern Sea Route, offshore oil and gas field development, environmental protection, negotiations on Northern territories and their socio-economic development.
