LOG904-159 Network Flows in Logistics Systems (Autumn 2021)

About the course

The course focuses includes two parts. Part I will cover fundamental single-commodity flow models, generalized flows, and multi-commodity flow models along with numerous applications arising in supply chain networks. Part II will cover applications of network flow modeling in some contemporary supply chains including joint vehicle and drone deliveries, electric vehicle routing, and liquefied natural gas distribution planning.

Topics covered: Network flows, multi-commodity flows, generalized flows, column generation, linearization, facility location, drone scheduling, vehicle routing, vessel scheduling.
