About the course

ADM25 seminars are normally given by invited professors that teach one of their special topics. The seminars may change from year to year. Examples of topics are:

  • Organisations and Strategy: Theory and Practice

  • Reform and Theories of Organizational Change

  • Institutional Theories of Organization

  • Organizational governance

  • Globalization and the Circulation of Management Ideas

Forms of teaching and learning

Each seminar is normally taught Monday to Thursday for one week. Within the limit of 15 hours of class, teaching will be a mix of lectures, assignments, group work and discussions. The diverse teachers are free to organise their seminar according to their preferred teaching approach.

Coursework requirements - conditions for taking the exam

50 % class attendance is mandatory.

Examination

  • Three hour written exam end of week (Friday). The exam starts at noon.

  • Supporting materials are lecture notes and own notes (printed, not digital)
