Knowledge:

By the end of the course students will:

  • Have an in-depth understanding of the nature of international business and the impact of globalization.
  • Have acquired knowledge into strategic and operational challenges businesses may face in an international context.​

Skills:

By the end of the course students will:

  • Be able to identify the principal actors that have shaped the international business environment
  • Be able to identify and explain the major challenges confronting international business firms
  • Be able to analyze the strategies employed in the global business environment

General competence:

  • Competence relevant to the needs of existing and future managers, executives, and professionals. These will include analysis and synthesis, oral and written communication.
  • Can demonstrate his/her learning and problem-solving abilities to carry out assignments and projects
  • Competence to reflect on ethical dilemmas in international business.
