This guide tells you where you can store and process information. Research data are also to be stored according to this guide. Click on the headings below to read more about the different kinds of storage.

Remember that before you store data as a student or employee at Molde University College it is your responsibility to classify data. This settles where you will store the data. Read more about the different information categories in the classification guide.

HiMolde has 3 areas to store data: OneDrive, Teams and Sharepoint.

  • OneDrive is your personal space for storage and will be replacing your home disk storage (M:) in the future.
  • Teams and SharePoint are common storage areas and will replace common areas (N: and O:) in the future.
    • There are official teams for storage by department in addition to a team for all employees.
    • All students and employees can make their own teams for sharing by demand.
    • IT-support can make SharePoint spaces without Teams functionality if wanted.

Other services can be used, but at your own responsibility according to the guidelines below.
