Use VPN if you want to use HiMoldes services when you are not on campus. Only for students and employees.
Install the VPN-client
- Open a browser and enter: https://vpn.himolde.no
- Enter your username and password.
You will be notified when the installation of the VPN client "Cisco Secure Client" is complete.
Connect/Disconnect VPN
Connect:
- Open the client (You can find the VPN icon in the taskbar or you can search for "Cisco Secure Client" via the start menu).
- Select "vpn.himolde.no" and press "Connect"
Disconnect:
- Double-click the VPN icon and click "Disconnect"
MFA Authentication
The VPN service uses Microsoft 365 login with 2-factor authentication. The VPN supports single sign-on, so that if you are already logged in to Microsoft 365 (teams, outlook, onenote etc.) you do not need to log in again.
