For access to databases, documents and software (on the college machines) outside the college network, you can log on to our Remote Desktop.
Install Microsoft Remote desktop from the Play Store.
Search for "Remote Desktop". Go to the app and click "install".
Download a profile:
This example will use Google Chrome as the web browser.
Open the website https://rds.himolde.no
Sign in with your username and password.
Click a profile to download it. If you don't know which profile you need, select the "Desktop 2019" profile.
Right-click the downloaded file.
Click "open with..."
Select "change default..."
Click "RD client". This will select the default program.
Doubleclick the downloaded file.
Click "Accept".
Click Connect.
Sign in with your username on the form username@himolde.no or himolde\username. E.g. abcde1234@himolde.no
You will now be signed into the Remote Desktop environment.
