Keenious is a reccomendation tool that uses AI to analyze your text, and suggests scholarly papers based on an algorithm. You can either use Keenious via browser or via Add-in tool in Word.
Worth noting:
- After a trial year in 2025, Molde University College have taken out a subscription to Keenious through the end of 2028.
- Use your HiMolde email address to log in (The Library recommends you to click the 'Sign in with Microsoft' button, due to absence of Feide login).
- Keenious can be a useful supplement for finding research articles, but it does not replace systematic searches in databases.
- A drawback: Keenious suggests 1000 articles, regardless of the length of your text (or your text string).
- Keenious also has a "Topic" section that can be useful, for example, in the idea phase and/or when you need to discover new subject areas.
- Keenious is a Norwegian-developed tool that generates article suggestions based on data from OpenAlex.
- Keenious is based in the EU/EEA and subject to GDPR, and it does not store the texts you input.
