You can store your references in a personal database and transfer them to your Word-document. In the document you can insert citations in the text, and make reference lists in numerous styles.
HiMolde has access to EndNote in two versions:
EndNote 2025 - for employees and students on master and doctor degree level.
Installation of EndNote:
- Master and PhD students: Canvas - "HiMolde student info" - "Moduler" - EndNote 2025 (for Master & PhD-stud).
- Windows: Download the files ”EN2025Inst.msi" and "License.dat”, unzip the the msi-file and install.
- Mac: Download the file "EndNote2025SiteInstaller.dmg" and pull the EndNote icon over to Applications, and open EndNote. (If you get a note about lack of authorization, please contact the IT department.)

Tips:
- The Citation compass is a website with many good instructions and examples for citing sources both with and without EndNote.
- EndNoteWeb - is for all employees and students. You get access from EndNote Web. Use the HELP-meny from EndNoteWeb, where you can find a tutorial.
- Google Docs/Word Online - It is possible to use EndNote with both
At HiMolde we recommend the reference style APA 7th, but other reference styles can also be used, if your supervisor recommends it.
