LOG904-114 Game Theory Applied in Logistics (Autumn 2022)

About the course

This course will provide understanding of the main concepts of Game Theory and its applications in logistics. The topics covered span from the basic notions of as strategies and equilibria, game-trees and backward induction to cooperative games and introduction to mechanism design.

The lectures will combine theoretical concepts with real market applications, such as the use of coalitional game theory to find fair cost allocation within a supply chain. A considerable attention will be paid to the newest research directions in the area of logistics (e.g. routing games).

The course is connected to the following study programs

Recommended requirements

No specific math is required, but some familiarity with basic probability theory is welcomed. Participation in SØK710 Industrial Organization can be a benefit, but not a prerequisite.
