About the course
In every sale/purchase (around the globe), a trade term/delivery term is included. Either as a specific term named and stated, or the actual term to be interpreted out from the contract.
The most common general used trade terms are the Incoterms®, and the aim of the seminar is to give the students a knowledge of trade terms/delivery terms in general, with a profound knowledge of the Incoterms®.
The Incoterms® is part of and has a great impact of both the Sales Law as well as Transport Law (logistics), and Insurance Law, and hence is a very useful tool when working with Sale, Purchase og Logistics (Planning, Forwarding and Transport), as well as Cargo- and/or Transport liability Insurance.

The student's learning outcomes after completing the course
Knowledge:
The students will have a profound knowledge of Incoterms®, International Transport law based on the transport conventions and International Cargo Insurance.
Skills:
Cognitive: The students’ cognitive skills will enable them to understand and process complex cases within the logistic environment.
Practical: The students’ practical skills will enable them to work with and solve logistical challenges both from the sellers, buyers, forwarders and Cargo Insurers perspective.
Creative and communicative skills: The students should be able to communicate for a variety of purposes and audiences in the subject area, and to be able to be creative based on the obtained knowledge.
General competence:
The students’ obtained and achieved knowledge should enable them to apply knowledge and skills independently in different situations through ability to work together, responsibility, ability to reflect and critical thinking in studies and profession
