Preparatory Course in Basic Statistics

In this course, you will learn the basics of statistics and prepare you for the course LOG708 Applied Statistics. The topics are descriptive statistics, probabilities, random variables, sampling and sampling distributions and estimation. If you do not have any /weak knowledge of statistics, we strongly recommend you take this course. Note that LOG708 will start on a higher level and it is presupposed that the students have basic knowledge of statistics.
