EndNote

EndNote is a tool for organizing, storage and use of references

You can store your references in a personal database and transfer them to your Word-document. In the document you can insert citations in the text, and make reference lists in numerous styles.
 

HiMolde has access to EndNote in two versions:

EndNote 20 - for employees and students on master and doctor degree level.
Installation of EndNote:

  • Master and PhD students: Canvas - "HiMolde student info" - "Moduler" - EndNote (for Master & PhD-stud).
    • Windows: Download the files ”EN20Inst.msi" and "License.dat”, unzip the the msi-file and install.
    • Mac: Download the file "EndNote20SiteInstaller.dmg" and pull the EndNote icon over to Applications, and open EndNote. (If you get a note about lack of authorization, please contact the IT department.)
  • Employees: O:\Programvare\Endnote. Choose Windows or MacOS.
    • Windows: Download the files ”EN20Inst.msi" and "License.dat”, unzip the the msi-file and install.
    • Mac: Download the file "EndNote20SiteInstaller.dmg" and pull the EndNote icon over to Applications, and open EndNote. (If you get a note about lack of authorization, please contact the IT department.)

EndNoteWeb -  is for all employees and students.  You get access from myendnoteweb.com. Use the HELP-meny from EndNoteWeb, where you can find a tutorial.
 
At HiMolde we recommend the reference style Chicago 17 (author-year), but other reference styles can also be used, if your supervisor recommends it.
