Source evaluation involves examining the quality of the information you have found, such as a book or a journal article. Sources found on the internet should be critically evaluated.

To evaluate a source the following sources should be asked:
- Who is the author?
- Written for whom?
- Why is it written?
- When is it written?
- Who is the publisher?
- Point of view/bias?
- References to other sources?
