The study is suitable for

Candidates with an excellent relevant higher education background of at least 300 ECTS, and who wishes to either qualify for positions within academia or other positions requiring a highly specialize compence profile. It is also suitable for applicants wanting to achieve specialist knowledge within a particular field of logistics, - and who has a desire to conduct research within this field. Such candidates are in demand for highly specialized positions in businesses and within public administration. 
Access to financing of the PhD project period is a must, and could either be achieved through announced PhD scholarships, or through research project funding, or via a mixed funding between an employer (private or public) and the Research Council of Norway.
