Management of Microsoft sign-in methods
Multiple sign-in methods are required when logging in to the university college’s services. This is often referred to as two-factor authentication or multi-factor authentication (MFA). You can change your sign-in methods through Microsoft Security Info.

If you use a Chromebook, the office programs must be downloaded from the Google Play Store on your device.
Microsoft 365 contains these services
- Downloading Microsoft apps to your own equipment
- Access to OneDrive with unlimited storage space
- You get online access to Microsoft apps from all devices via a browser
- Apps for mobile devices
Teams
Microsoft Teams is a collaboration app with these core features:
- Teams:
- Group divisions, where the owner of the team defines who is a member.
- Within a team, all members have read and write rights to files and content.
- Through Microsoft Education, Teams is integrated with Canvas.
- Chat
- Phone calls and video meetings
- File sharing
OneDrive
You can store most of your documents in the college's OneDrive. A document is private until you share it. OneDrive is also a good tool when a few people need to collaborate on a document.
You can find OneDrive as a folder on your PC, and you can also use the OneDrive app in Microsoft 365. The OneDrive app is also available in Teams.

- Storing data in OneDrive entails the transport and storage of data outside Norway. Personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act with regulations, health data or security graded data must therefore NOT be stored in or shared through OneDrive.
