Forms of assessments
The assessment form shall ensure that students’ knowledge and skills are tested and assessed in a manner that is impartial and academically sound. Assessment shall also ensure the academic standards of the course of study in question. The assessment must be of a form that allows the student to appeal (with exemption of oral exams).
External graders

Examination question sets
Examination question sets must be uploaded in Inspera or sent to eksamen@himolde.no. The exam question set for a re-sit exam must be finalised simultaneously.
The exam question sets must be completed well ahead of exams to reduce vulnerability if yourself and/or members of the examination team fall ill.
How to create an home exam question set in Inspera:
- Log into Inspera https://himolde.inspera.no/admin
- Choose “Create new question set”
- Give name to your exam question set (i.e. ADM111, 15 May 2025)
- Choose “New question”. Choose question type “Document” for the front page.
- Choose “New question”. Choose question type “Upload assignment” for exam question.
- Add your exam questions or upload your questions question set as a PDF in “PDF panel”
- Save and inform the examination team that the question set is complete.
Assessment guideline
An assessment guideline or a solution for each exam must be handed in to eksamen@himolde.no together with the exam question set.
Plagarism check
A plagarism check will be conducted for all exams in Inspera.
Examination results
An overview of examiners must be produced; internal examiner, external examiner and examiners for the appeals.
The deadline for publishing the grades is 15 working days after the examination date.
